The first search phrase was ”writing blog” without the quotation marks yielding over fifty million results. This was confounded by results about blog writing, a popular search. The search was restricted by enclosing in quotation marks. This restricted the search to an exact phrase, in other words the words in thes strict order ”writing blog”.
The second search phrase was ”writing blog” with the quotation marks. This returned about a million results. Here are the first dozen or so blogs:
